Tehanu exists in the belief that all species need to participate in our economy in order to survive. Formerly known as Interspiecies Money the foundation has built the infrastructure that enables a circular flow of money and data between other species and humans, ensuring they flourish together with us. Tehanu takes a radical approach to helping other species. Rather than treating nature as a charity case, they aim to provide it with the tools it needs to pay for its own protection. From brand Strategy to an Brand Identity. During our foundational workshops, one word kept surfacing: Punk. A strong word for a company committed to planetary change, but it became a defining adjective for shaping Tehanu’s identity.
